Queen Bee
Queen Bee is the debut beer from The Sisters Brewery, a Utrecht-based brewery founded by sisters Annamijn and Josefien Beijeman alongside their father Wilfran. The name draws from their surname, which means 'beekeeper' in Dutch – a motif woven throughout their beer range.
This dry-hopped American IPA pours a golden to light orange colour with a firm white head. The hop bitterness is present but restrained, with smooth citrus flavours that work well alongside the malty foundation. At 7.7% ABV, Queen Bee strikes a balanced interplay between hop bite and fruity, hoppy character.
An approachable IPA that embodies The Sisters Brewery's philosophy: each beer is crafted with attention to detail and artisanal care.
