Texels Tuunwal Tripel is a blonde abbey-style beer brewed by Texelse Bierbrouwerij since 1999 in a converted dairy building in Oudeschild on the island of Texel. At 8.5% ABV, this unfiltered tripel balances subtle sweetness with a distinctive hop bitterness.

The nose reveals dark fruit and caramel notes. On the palate, a full and warm character emerges with flavours of cherry, raisin, plum and vanilla. The finish is dry with a hint of spice, driven by a powerful blend of malt, alcohol and bitterness.

This beer earned gold at the World Beer Awards 2023 as an excellent example of the style. It pairs well with meat dishes and is best served around 9°C.
