Pitch Black is a Black IPA born from a collaboration between two Twente-based breweries: Rigters and Rubelijn. This distinctive beer merges the dark, roasted character of a stout with the hop bitterness and aroma of an IPA.

The beer is jet black in appearance, yet the flavour reveals the American Black IPA philosophy: restrained malt bitterness, pronounced hop bitterness and generous hop aroma. Roasted notes mingle with hints of fruit, creating a profile that recalls a blend of stout and IPA.

Rigters brews in Buurse, housed in a converted dairy farm on the Twente countryside. This beer demonstrates their commitment to reimagining classic styles with a modern twist.
