Muskoka Detour
Muskoka Detour is one of Ontario's first Session India Pale Ales, brewed by Muskoka Brewery in Bracebridge. At just 4.3% ABV, this dry-hopped ale delivers big hop character without the weight. A blend of Marris Otter, Dextra Pils and 2-Row malt provides a light body, while El Dorado, Citra and Sorachi Ace hops create a rewarding tropical aroma with citrus and grapefruit notes.
Detour strikes a pleasing balance: sweet, fruity aromatics are tempered by subtle hop bitterness and finish clean and slightly dry. Not aggressively bitter or heavily carbonated, yet distinctly hoppy—a true sessionable brew for those who want flavour without excess.
