Brasserie Caulier

Bon Secours Brune

Bon Secours Brune is a dark Belgian ale brewed by Brasserie Caulier in Péruwelz using natural ingredients and bottle refermentation. The beer carries the legacy of Charles Caulier, who left mining in 1933 to become a beer merchant in the village of Bonsecours.

This brown ale pours dark mahogany with a fluffy white head. The nose reveals roasted malt, dark stonefruit, mocha and chocolate notes. On the palate, the beer is full and complex, with rich malt character, toasty undertones and hints of dried fruit. The alcohol presence is pleasant and warming without harshness.

Bottle refermentation gives this artisanal beer its lively character and depth. At 8% ABV, Bon Secours Brune combines traditional brewing methods with natural ingredients to create a distinctive and flavourful dark ale.
