Cantillon Rosé de Gambrinus
Rosé de Gambrinus is a raspberry lambic from Brasserie Cantillon, Brussels's only traditional lambic brewery. The beer blends a two-year-old lambic base with 200 grams of raspberries per litre, macerated for three months in empty oak casks. The result is a refined, tart raspberry expression with a bone-dry finish.
The nose is dominated by fresh, tart raspberries and crushed berry skin, with earthy, funky undertones. On the palate, citrus notes emerge—lemon juice, oak woodiness and subtle barnyard funk. Light-bodied and crisp, the beer finishes dry and clean, with acidity that lingers.
