Brasserie Atrium

Atrium Juruá

Atrium Juruá is an ambitious Imperial Stout from Brasserie Atrium in Marche-en-Famenne, Belgium. Brewed with nine different malts and candy sugar, this dark and potent beer draws inspiration from the Cumaru bean found deep in the Amazon rainforest. At 13% ABV, it delivers serious depth and presence.

The nose reveals tonka bean sweetness, vanilla, chocolate and roasted malt character. On the palate, rich layers of prune and raisin emerge alongside spicy cinnamon and clove notes, all supported by a thick, biscuity malt foundation. The alcohol is warming but well-integrated, lending a vinous quality rather than harsh heat.

This is a contemplative stout for those seeking complexity and story in a glass.
