Toe Cutter
Toe Cutter is a New England IPA from Fuerst Wiacek, the Berlin-based brewery founded in 2016 by Georg Fürst and Lukasz Wiacek after they met at a climbing gym and fell in love with homebrewing. This NEIPA is dry-hopped with Mosaic, Ekuanot and Simcoe, delivering a full, fruity aroma with tropical notes and citrus character. The beer pours pale yellow with a thin, soapy head.
On the palate, Toe Cutter is bold yet balanced. Tropical fruit and citrus dominate, supported by a firm hop bitterness that avoids harshness. The fruit flavours and assertive bitterness work in tandem rather than against each other. The body is smooth and light, with crisp carbonation that keeps the beer refreshing and lively throughout.
The finish is dry and bitter, with lingering citrus and hop notes that fade cleanly. This is a well-crafted NEIPA that demonstrates the skill of Berlin's craft brewing pioneers.
