Hirond'Ale
Hirond'Ale is a seasonal farmhouse ale from Brasserie Dupont, one of Europe's last family-owned breweries brewing beer the traditional way. Originally crafted to refresh seasonal farm workers toiling in the heat of Hainaut's fields, this beer carries decades of brewing heritage.
Built on simple foundations—pilsner malt and European hops—it delivers a lively character. The nose is fresh and inviting, with citrus, Belgian yeast esters of banana and bread, and spicy pepper notes. On the palate, it is crisp and distinctly bitter, yet paradoxically light and full-bodied at once, with a wonderful creamy texture beneath the brightness.
The finish is clean and dry, free of sweetness. Brasserie Dupont recommends serving at cellar temperature (12°C) or lightly chilled—a natural choice for summer refreshment.
