Red Lioness is a fruit beer from De Mortselarij, the artisanal microbrewery in Mortsel known for creative, characterful brews. This beer emerged from a distinctive brewing session: a single batch of 2000 litres of base wort was divided into five different fruity variants.

The aroma reveals light fruity caramel malt with a subtle roasted undertone. The palate is complex and malty, with clear notes of red fruit that complement the malt foundation. The beer has a medium body and pairs well with grilled meats and barbecue.
