Wilderen Goud
Wilderen Goud is a top-fermented blonde ale from Brouwerij Wilderen in Sint-Truiden, Limburg. Set in an authentic farmstead dating to 1642 and surrounded by fruit orchards, the brewery positions this beer as approachable and flavourful without unnecessary complexity.
This golden-coloured beer marries American hop varieties with a solid malt backbone and undergoes bottle conditioning. The nose reveals light orchard fruit, biscuity malt and subtle floral character. On the palate, dried fruit, plum and toffee emerge alongside a pleasant hop bitterness.
Full-bodied and velvety on the tongue, it finishes dry with a lingering aftertaste. A refreshing yet substantial ale that works equally well as an aperitif or alongside robust food.
