Brouwerij Holevoort in Bakel crafts this Tripel using hop and barley grown on the brewery's own land. Special No. 5 Barrel Aged matured for 242 days in a Bowmore 29 years old whiskey cask from 1982, imparting a warm, alcoholic character with pronounced whiskey influence.

Whiskey notes dominate the palate, supported by fruity esters and spice from the Tripel fermentation. The beer carries sharp edges and finishes dry. Expect carbonation release when opening, a result of extended barrel aging.
