Halve Tamme 9th anniversary bourbon barrel aged black barleywine with coffee, vanilla and cocoa
This is the ninth anniversary release from Brouwerij Halve Tamme, a Dutch nano-brewery founded in 2015 in Zevenbergen, known for bold dark beers and experimental brewing. This barleywine has been matured in bourbon barrels, delivering a rich, creamy body with pronounced notes of coffee, vanilla and cocoa.
The nose reveals roasted grain, bourbon oak and dark chocolate in equal measure. On the palate, the full body is supported by restrained bitterness and a dry finish that lingers with barrel-aged warmth. A contemplative beer best served around 11°C.
