Tripel Karmeliet
Tripel Karmeliet from Brouwerij Bosteels is brewed to an authentic recipe dating from 1679, originating from the former Carmelite monastery in Dendermonde. The name reflects its distinctive use of three grains: barley, wheat and oats. Wheat contributes freshness, while oats lend a creamy mouthfeel.
This medium-bodied ale presents itself with delicate warmth despite its 8.4% ABV. The nose reveals floral and fruity character with notes of banana and orange peel. On the palate, soft malt notes, hints of vanilla and elegant spice lead to a dry, fruity finish that remains crisp and refreshing.
