Sun & Moon is an Imperial Stout from Brouwerij De Molen in Bodegraven, brewed in collaboration with Scottish brewery Tempest Brewing. This ambitious 10% ABV beer sets itself apart through unexpected ingredients: shiitake, miso and seaweed enrich the roasted malt foundation.
The nose reveals roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. On the palate, dark chocolate and toffee dominate, supported by the burnt character of the stout base. The beer finishes full and warming, with the alcohol strength unmistakably present.
