Rauch am Wasser is a smoked beer from Breda, born from a collaboration between Brouwerij Bliksem and Ramses Bier. The name reflects the waterfront location where the beer was brewed and where the brewers smoked the malt themselves. This is a subtle rauchbier with an amber body and well-balanced character.

The beer offers light sweetness with caramel notes and a present but restrained smoke character. At 4.8% ABV, it is approachable and suited to longer sessions. Originally brewed for the Beyerd Beer Festival 2023, where it was presented with a shared toast from German steins.
