Caracole Ambre

Caracole Ambrée is an amber ale from Brasserie Caracole in Falmignoul, near the French border in Wallonia. The brewery has operated on this site since 1765 and still employs a wood-fired copper kettle—a rare traditional method in modern Europe. The beer undergoes bottle conditioning, adding depth and complexity through secondary fermentation.

On the nose, warm toffee, juicy orange and bright spices invite the drinker. The palate is jammy and fruity, with caramel malts and earthy yeast character balanced by moderate bitterness. Notes of toast and nutmeg linger without overwhelming the sweetness that defines the beer's profile.

At 7.9% ABV, Caracole Ambrée delivers solid body and warming alcohol without harshness. It reflects the brewery's commitment to traditional, hands-on craftsmanship and remains an approachable expression of Belgian amber ale.
