Bolten Ur-Alt is the unfiltered version of Bolten Alt, brewed by Privatbrauerei Bolten in Korschenbroich. The brewery claims to be the world's oldest continuously operating altbier producer, with a brewing heritage stretching back to 1266.

This altbier offers a full, aromatic character. The nose presents toasty malts with hints of caramel and coffee. On the palate, the beer is light, dry and clean, with biscuity malts taking centre stage and a subtle smoky undertone. A whisper of pepper adds complexity.

The finish is bitter and crisp, supported by a medium body that flows smoothly. This is a classically crafted German altbier that reflects centuries of brewing tradition.
