Blitz Barley Beast is Alkmaar's take on the classic Barleywine style. This amber to deep red beer delivers a full-bodied experience with prominent malty aromas, dried fruit character and subtle spice notes.

On the palate, it shows good sweetness balanced by bread-like malt flavours, liquorice undertones and raisin complexity. At 10% ABV, the alcohol warmth is present but integrated. The finish lingers pleasantly without heaviness. A contemplative beer suited to blue-veined cheese, hearty stews or quiet winter evenings.
