Vergina is the flagship beer of Macedonian Thrace Brewery, founded in 1996 in Komotini. When bottled for the first time in February 1998, it signalled the beginning of Greece's craft beer revolution, entering a market dominated by international conglomerates.

This pale lager is brewed with 100% Thracian barley malt and delivers a crisp, smooth character with mild bitterness. The beer shows a golden hue beneath a cream-coloured head. On the nose, fruity and grassy notes blend with subtle herbal undertones.

Vergina suits everyday drinking and pairs well with grilled meats, barbecue and cheese. At 5% ABV, it offers an approachable, balanced profile without heavy flavours.
