Porter
Sinebrychoff Porter is a Baltic porter from Finland, brewed by the Sinebrychoff brewery founded in 1819 by Russian émigré Nikolai Sinebrychoff. This dark, almost black ale is top-fermented and distinguished by rich malt character with notes of roasted grain, chocolate and coffee.
The aroma is pronounced: roasted malt leads, accompanied by subtle chocolate and coffee notes. On the palate, the beer is fuller than expected, with a sweet malty complexity balanced by a mild, roasted bitterness. The body is creamy and smooth, characteristic of Baltic porters brewed with lager yeast and cold-lagered for a refined finish.
