Koeketiene is Brouwerij Maenhout's debut beer, born from a charming origin story. The name references the ten of diamonds from a card game—the moment the brewer first met his wife in 2002. This soft tripel balances spice and phenolic character with a measured bitterness and clean finish.

The beer appears bright pale gold beneath a substantial white head. Aromas lean toward spice and phenolic notes, mirrored in the palate where apricot, orange zest and honey malt add roundness. Grassy and floral hop bitterness emerges in the middle and carries through to a dry, slightly mineral conclusion. An approachable tripel with character and restraint.
