Gulpener Dort is a Dortmunder Export from the independent Gulpener Bierbrouwerij in Gulpen, Limburg, founded in 1825. Introduced in 1953, it holds the distinction of being the Netherlands' first specialty beer, marking a significant moment in Dutch brewing history.

At 7% ABV, this amber lager is fuller and more powerful than traditional German Dortmunder Exports. The beer displays a robust body with sweet malt aromatics, honey and caramel from roasted malts. A dry, hoppy finish provides balance to the sweet profile.

Gulpener Dort was discontinued in 2024, marking the end of a classic.
